Ecclesiastes 3:1-4
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance.
The winter is getting the best of me dear friends. Two weeks ago, I pulled a muscle by slipping on water, and on Sunday, Hubby and I both fell on some ice. We are ok, just a little bruised, but couple that with a bit of a cold, and it has me totally over this winter, and looking forward to a joyful celebration.
Luckily, we have just such an event to look forward too. This summer, two of our dear friends will be getting married. What could be more joyful than that? They have decided to have an out of town wedding, in a place we have visited before, so we get to take the opportunity to have a little mini vacation! I can not explain how fun this is going to be! All of our closest friends will be there, and we all have been looking forward to this day for so long.
When I met Hubby, he told me all about his friend J, the now groom to be, and how his one wish for him was that he would find a woman to make him as happy as I make Hubby. When I met J, and saw what a special and unique guy he was, I knew it would take one amazing woman to fulfill Hubby's wish for his friend. Luckily, J latched on to just such a woman when he met E. She is the peanut butter to his jelly, the cheese to his cracker, and cookies to his milk. In short, she is the PERFECT match for him.
You know people are meant to be together when all the people around them have such outpouring of love on their behalf. Such is the case with E and J. Both have been through some tough times in the past, as we all have, but now that they have each other, this is their time to dance. And we all look forward to dancing with them on their wedding day.
We love you Burkharts!
